Started on a Job Site.
Green Deal Construction started the way most real trades do—not in an office with a business plan, but on a Saturday, on a ladder, finishing a neighbor's porch because nobody else in town would do it right.
What started as side work for family turned into referrals, then a truck, then a crew. Three generations of West Virginia builders taught us the same thing: the reputation you build is the only thing that lasts longer than the house. So we built the company around that idea—one honest job, then the next, then the next.
Today Green Deal serves Charleston and the surrounding counties with a full scope of work—decks, kitchens, baths, whole-home remodels, and new construction. The trucks are newer. The tools are sharper. The name on the door hasn't changed.

Bliss Johnson is the Co-Owner and Director of Operations at Green Deal Construction. As the primary point of contact for clients, Bliss oversees estimating, project planning, customer relations, scheduling, and business operations while working closely with his father, Aundrey Johnson, to ensure every project is completed with professionalism, transparency, and exceptional quality.
Growing up around the construction industry, Bliss developed a passion for building and helping homeowners bring their visions to life. Today, he combines that hands-on knowledge with a modern approach to project management, communication, and customer service. From the first consultation to the final walkthrough, he is committed to making every project a smooth and enjoyable experience for each client.
Bliss works directly with homeowners, insurance companies, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate every phase of construction. Whether it’s a custom home, addition, structural repair, insurance restoration project, or complete remodel, he believes clear communication, honest pricing, and attention to detail are the foundation of a successful project.
As a co-owner of Green Deal Construction, Bliss is passionate about growing a company built on integrity, quality craftsmanship, and lasting relationships. His goal is simple—to earn every client’s trust by delivering exceptional work and treating every home as if it were his own.
Outside of work, Bliss enjoys spending time with his daughter, staying active, working toward personal growth, and continuously learning new ways to improve both himself and the company. He believes that building strong relationships is just as important as building quality projects.
Together, Bliss and his father have created Green Deal Construction with one mission: to provide dependable construction services backed by honesty, experience, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.

Aundrey Johnson is the Co-Owner and Director of Construction at Green Deal Construction. Working alongside his son, Bliss Johnson, Aundrey oversees all field operations, manages project execution, and ensures every job is completed with exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail.
With more than 35 years of experience in construction and related trades, Aundrey has built a reputation for quality workmanship, dependable leadership, and doing things the right way. His experience includes custom homes, additions, structural repairs, remodeling, insurance restoration, and a wide range of residential and light commercial construction projects.
A lifelong West Virginian, Aundrey proudly served in the United States Army before continuing his career in the construction industry. His military service instilled the discipline, integrity, and strong work ethic that continue to define his leadership today. Throughout his career, he has traveled for construction projects across the country, gaining valuable experience and bringing that knowledge back to serve the communities he proudly calls home.
As the leader of Green Deal Construction’s field operations, Aundrey works closely with homeowners, crews, and subcontractors to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. His hands-on leadership and commitment to quality give clients confidence that their project is in experienced and capable hands.
Outside of construction, Aundrey’s faith and family are at the center of his life. In his free time, he enjoys restoring classic American cars, attending car races, and spending time with the people who matter most.
With more than three decades of experience, Aundrey continues to lead every project with integrity, pride, and a commitment to delivering quality that lasts.
